Zachari Breeding's 2nd book, a novel, Flamer explores the food memories of a chef as they have influenced his life. Reliving experiences from his past, Zach Breeding writes about the world as he sees it, from scrutiny in the public school system to dealing with the near death of his mother. It takes a lot to start out in the foodservice industry. Starting at the age of twelve, Breeding delved head first into all that the field has to offer - with all the drugs, abuse, and sex that come with it.

Growing up in the small town of Bowley's Quarters, Maryland is not easy for any gay man. Sure, there is plenty to do when you live near the water, but with as few dating options as there are ethnic restaurants, one is bound to lose interest. In this satirizing look back at his life, we see the world through the eyes of a gay youth trying to get out of his hometown, and a future chef trying to make a name for himself.
