I make a smoothie in my nutribullet everyday. I wanted to get your thoughts on it. Ingredients are: generous handful of spinach, mix of fruits based on what's in season, 3T Greek yogurt, 2T ground flax seed; 2T peanut butter. Is this as a breakfast healthy? Or am I spinning my wheels? ps-- not a big meat eater so I try to get extra protein by adding the PB and yogurt.

-Other dietary adjustments pre and post-thyroidectomy
-Healthy BMI as it is associated with pre and post-thyroidectomy. If you want me to respond to other in...

What are your thoughts on grains? Should we be eating a lot more protein than carbs? Books such as 'Grain Brain' can lead anyone to have mixed feelings on the subject. I've been doing a lot of research on GMO's and feel that our foods supplied by big companies shouldn't be trusted and we should eat local. Thoughts?

It is a great choice for not (not in the winter because nothing grows outside unless in a greenhouse). Also, unfortunately, growing local doesn't ensure complete isolation from Big Food. Some seeds and plants can come from Big Food seeds and plants without the farmer even trying. If you would...
