"Tubby Olive" Lamb Gyro Sliders

Preparation Time: approximately 10 minutes

Cooking Time: approximately 20 minutes

Serving Size: 3 sliders; makes about 2-3 servings

3 Slices on The Slice Plan


As needed whole wheat slider rolls*

1 pound lamb, ground

2 tsp black pepper

1 TB kosher salt

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

4 cloves garlic, chopped

2 tsp oregano, dried

2 tsp basil, dried

1 tsp lemon juice

1 TB Lemon-Infused Olive Oil - "Tubby Olive" brand

Toppings: spinach, sliced roma tomatoes, sliced grilled onions, Tzatziki sauce (recipe can be found HERE), Nan’s Pickles (recipe can be found HERE).

*You may also use 2 pieces of pita, cut into quarters (½ pita makes 1 slider).


Combine lamb, pepper, salt, Worcestershire, garlic, oregano, basil, lemon juice, and olive oil. Mix well with hands. Shape into 9-12 equal sized patties, about 1" thick.

Grill or pan-fry burgers until internal temperature of 155 degrees has been reached. DO NOT press burgers down while cooking - this will release flavorful juices.

Turn-out & Storage

Serve on slider roll* with your favorite toppings! Perfect for family/friend gatherings, as a party appetizer, or for a fun night in!

Lamb Burgers can be stored for up to 3 days under refrigeration.
